Through seminars, workshops and publications, the Association offers its members many ways to stay current on issues and ideas crucial to the industry.  Once you are a member of the HBA you are also a member of the State and National Home Builders Associations, thus providing you with access not only to our local publications and services, but also state and national.

AGC-SIF Members

If you are a member of the Kentucky AGC-SIF (provider of workers compensation), you are required to attend a 2-hour safety educational course each year by October 31.

Each year we have many members who are scrambling to get their required credit hours for the year.  You must have completed your required education no later than December 31.  There is no grace period.  Safety Credit Hours (if you have ACG/SIF Insurance) must be met by October 31.  There is no grace period.  An explanation of hours required is listed below.

:: Registered Builder and Registered Remodeler members must complete 8 hours of continuing education, 2 of which must be safety credit hours.

:: Associate Builder and Associate Remodeler members must complete 12 hours of continuing education, 2 of which must be safety credit hours.

:: AGC/SIF members of the HBAL must complete 2 safety credit hours of continuing education by October 31 in order to maintain your AGC/SIF insurance fund. Your insurance will be cancelled by AGC if these requirements are not completed by the deadline date.

All courses are pre-pay via credit card or personal check.  You may pay with your American Express, Visa or MasterCard.
